Gail has been involved in all facets of school counseling and counselor education for over 25 years. She worked as a school counselor for 12 years, primarily at the secondary level. She received the Rhosine Fleming School Counselor Award (TSCA) as well as the TSCA CREST Award. Gail has been a counselor educator for 14 years where she has coordinated school counseling programs and served as clinic director in two on-campus clinics. She has supervised over 30 LPC Interns in Texas. Her research interests include professional identity of school counselors, best practices in school counseling, and counseling children and adolescents. She is a member of ACA, ACES, ACAC (where she was founding trustee and former president), SACES, TCA, TACES, and TSCA.
