Joseph Gibson has taught at Liberty University since 2013. His primary areas of philosophical interest include Husserlian phenomenology, Universals, and the works of Aristotle, C. S. Lewis, and Dallas Willard. His master’s thesis was on the internalism versus externalism debate and the philosophy of Husserlian philosopher Dallas Willard. He presented a paper at an international conference on Aristotle’s metaphysics in which he discussed a common thread between Aristotelian and Platonic views of universals. Outside of philosophy, he is interested in Wesleyan and Arminian theology, textual criticism, and inerrancy.
