Former Flames Hockey Player and Liberty Alum Coordinates Canadian Youth Christian Conference

Jordan Bochinski graduated in 2020 with a Digital Media & Communications degree. He is from Manitoba, Canada and made the trek every year to attend Liberty University. During his time at Liberty, Jordan played D1 hockey where he formed lasting friendships with teammates. Jordan says he must be intentional about continuing the friendships started at Liberty because of his distance from campus. However, he is very clear about how much he cares for those relationships saying, “I leave every conversation overflowing with thankfulness for such great relationships!”

After graduating, Jordan began working full-time at his local church, Riverwood Church Community. His area of focus is youth and sports ministry. Currently, he is organizing one of the first Christian young adult conferences in Canada. Collide Conference’s goal is to facilitate a new revival to, “stir up a hunger for [God] like never before in our country.” Jordan is volunteering at the Collide Conference to encourage and embolden the younger generations. In the same way, Jordan leaves a piece of advice for Liberty students saying, “allow yourself to be mentored, molded, and taught by God at LU. If you have the humility to allow that to happen, then you will genuinely become a Champion for Christ.”
