Dr. Caruso works closely with the Helms team to expand and develop operational systems to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and excellence for the online programs. Dr. Caruso brings many years of higher education administrative experience to her new role along with executive management and public interest and public policy work from her prior work with United Way. Here, she enlisted public support by mobilizing community leaders to advocate for change at local and state levels of government to enhance the early care and education system in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Caruso developed and implemented outreach strategies designed to engage key stakeholders while facilitating linkages among practitioners, policy makers, and civic leaders working with both the private and the public sector. These experiences have translated well to meet the challenges and responsibilities of the Helms School online programs. Dr. Caruso is admitted to practice law in Virginia and New Jersey.
