Events For Military Students
Liberty University is committed to cultivating an atmosphere of camaraderie and support among our military student population. Each semester, the office of Military Affairs plans events for our military student population. This not only allows you to connect with other military students but also gives us a chance to extend our gratitude for your service. Whether you are a current service member, veteran, or military spouse, we hope to see you at an upcoming event. Military Family Fun Day
Liberty University service members, veterans, spouses and their families are invited to attend our annual Military Family Fun Day at the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Center. Enjoy a day of fun activities for the whole family including tubing, skiing, snowboarding, lunch, activities, and more! An RSVP is required by Monday, April 15 to reserve your family’s spot for a fun day with LU’s military families!

- Tickets: Admission is free. An RSVP and proof of service are required for entry.

Military Graduate Recognition Ceremony
This annual tradition honors our service members, veterans, and military spouses who have completed their degrees. Families of military graduates, as well as military staff and faculty from Liberty University, are invited to attend to celebrate the achievements of these military graduates. All graduating military service members and veterans are presented with a commemorative coin, a cherished tradition at Liberty University. Specific details about our Military Graduate Recognition Ceremony for 2024 will be posted during the Spring 2024 semester closer to Commencement. Military Appreciation Month
Military Appreciation Month raises awareness and appreciation for those who have served and are serving in the United States military. Military Appreciation Month is a month-long celebration to provide further visibility, support, and recognition to our military and veterans. Events are planned throughout campus during November to show appreciation for the men and women who have served and are serving this great nation. Examples of previous events include Veterans Appreciation Receptions, Military Convocation, the Valley View Mike Donahue 5 Miler, and much more.
