All Event Tickets Included Activities

Anyone who has purchased an all event ticket will have access to a variety of activities including snowboarding, skiing, rock climbing, swimming, basketball, and ice skating. Many of our locations are first come, first serve, and some locations are based on booking a time slot. To avoid lines at the following locations, make sure that you are Winterfest Ready and have completed all required waivers:

Montview Student Union

Continue to grow in your faith at our NEW "Out of the Ashes" student session. Grow in your understanding of what it means to come out of darkness and into the light and life of Christ at this student session. This time will include worship and a teaching session from a speaker in addition to an opportunity to ask questions to further your growth in Christ! You won’t want to miss this session!

Christian Film Screening and Special Q&A Event

Continue to grow in your faith at our NEW "Out of the Ashes" film screening! This film screening will feature three films. Come and participate in our panel discussion after each film to hear from the filmmakers on how they desire to redeem the film industry and impact culture.

 

The film screening will be a ticketed event.

Worship Service

Grand Concert Hall

Join us Sunday morning at the Center for Music and Worship Arts for our NEW "Out of the Ashes" worship service. We will be starting this service Sunday morning Dec. 31 at 9:30am. You will experience dynamic worship from the Liberty Worship Collective, as well as sound teaching. Come out and worship the Lord on the Dec. 31 with the rest of the Winterfest family. You won’t want to miss this time!

Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre

Located atop Liberty University’s serene 7,000+ acre mountain, the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre is a year-round skiing, snowboarding, and tubing slope. Composed of beginner, intermediate, and advanced slopes and a 2-story lodge, this high-performance playground is the first of its kind in the U.S.

LaHaye Recreation and Fitness Center

The LaHaye Recreation and Fitness Center provides all sorts of activities for our students. With seven basketball courts, the LaHaye Recreation and Fitness Center makes for a great place to shoot some hoops with friends or challenge another group to a pickup game. Take a dip in the 25-yard swimming pool, featuring a 1-meter diving board. Other facilities include nine volleyball courts and a 4,000-square-foot rock wall with a 40-foot climbing tower! Liberty Mountain Skate Park

The Liberty Mountain Skate Park is Central Virginia's only indoor skate park! The park will host skateboarders, inline skaters, and BMX riders (without metal pegs) throughout Winterfest. Although outside equipment is encouraged, additional gear will be available to rent. The skate park is located at 3700 Candlers Mtn. Rd. behind Cici’s Pizza.

Montview Bowling Alley

Liberty University has a new bowling alley on campus. Located in the basement level of the Montview Student Union, this facility has eight lanes; six people can play on a lane at one time. Bowling shoes are available for rent, along with a variety of bowling balls. Bowling is a first come, first served activity and charges $2 for shoes and $2.50 per game.

Artist Q & A

Join us for the Artist Q & A session where we will play some games, connect with the artists on a personal level and have a blast getting to know the stories behind some of the songs that have become so popular. This event is general admission, so come early to this event to get the best seat in the house for this year’s Artist Q & A at Winterfest!

Youth Leader Session

Even if you are not a youth leader, be sure to come to the Youth Leader Session. This year we will be talking about the essentials in reaching, leading, and nurturing the next generation with theological and practical advice on student ministry. This time will include a teaching session from a speaker in addition to an opportunity to ask questions, network, and brainstorm healthy ways to engage your youth so they may grow in their walk with Christ.
