Almost the End

April 18, 2014

I can’t believe that my freshman year is over in less than a month. Seriously, it seemed like yesterday that I moved into my dorm. Looking back I can’t help but be so thankful for everything God has done and that I have been able to do! He has lead me in so many amazing directions and to so many people who have impacted my life greatly. But before I get ahead of myself, I still have 3-ish weeks to make memories, friends and most importantly, good grades (which is a struggle).

It is just a struggle to keep pushing through. I am not a procrastinator, but it has been a struggle to keep up with my crazy schedule, especially when the sunshine is so welcoming.

Leaving school will be bittersweet, so here is a list of the bitter and of the sweet:

Bitter:

I will miss

  • all my friends (you know who you are)

  • the Rot cookies

  • #jflibrary

  • sharing clothes

  • my job

  • Johnnie Moore (but really)

  • Flames Cash

  • the loft bed

  • The Muse, the White Hart, The Tea House, and Market on Maine

Sweet:

I can’t wait to

  • sing with my mom and sister

  • watch movies with my dad

  • sleep forever

  • hang with my brothers

  • not spend money (I need help)

  • see my friends from high school

  • go to Thursdays on First and the farmers markets

  • do laundry for free

  • drink Dunn Brothers Coffee, Spyhouse Coffee, and my mom's sweet tea

I went to Rita's for the first time and got a mango gelati. It was the most spectacular thing I've ever had.

My friend Lydia and I have been using the LaHaye Center at 6 a.m. every morning.

My friend got a husky named Beta. She is the softest husky in the world.

This beautiful lady is my friend Alexa and together we swam at David's Place Saturday night.

This is a picture of my broken window after some boys hit a golf ball through it on accident. It is rather hilarious.
