Department of English

The Bachelor of Arts in English degree trains students in literary criticism, syntax and rhetoric, and critical reading and writing — all from a Christian worldview. Students take courses such as Shakespeare, Expository Writing, Modern Grammar, and History of the English Language. English majors have career opportunities in almost every field, including marketing, law, missions, publishing, and education.
