Lynchburg's Community MarketSeptember 1, 2011
Saturday morning I went to the local Community Market with two of my friends that go to Liberty who I worked with at Crossroads! People always tell me that I have to go there and see what its like and to explore more of Lynchburg. So, Saturday morning we set out to buy our produce for the week.
When we got there we just checked everything out to see what all we wanted to buy. They have: all different types of local fruits and veggies, herbs, flowers, eggs, meat, local artists paintings, and crafts. I ended up buying carrots, peaches and a lemon. There are also several places to eat in the inside part of the market. We sat down together and ate at Irene’s Country Cooking for brunch. I loved getting up early on a Saturday and enjoying good conversation with friends.
