Laura grew up as a Pastor’s daughter. Serving and loving God has always been at the forefront of her ministry. At a young age, she committed her life to Jesus Christ and has been chasing him ever since. Her love and passion for people and servant heart is who she is today. She strives to always be a light to others in the marketplace as well as in her place of work. A stay home Mom for 10 years did not stop her from serving the Lord. She has held numerous volunteer positions at several megachurches located in Texas where her husband David and children, Ben, Faith, and Jacob lived for 7 years. From teaching preschool to organizing large events, Laura always serves with a smile and gives God the honor and glory. Life is a journey and all that we do whether it be volunteer work or paid work is what she calls doing the dance of life with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is very happy and excited to be working full time at Liberty University. She passionately mentors college-aged females, praying that their time in Celebrate Recovery at her church will change and heal them, thus causing them to go and help others after they graduate Liberty University. Laura is a prayer warrior who prays for many who come in her pathway. She will often say, Prayer is like breathing to her. Prayer can change everything.
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. Isa. 61:1
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence. Vince Lombardi
