Mrs. Rachel Van Dyk holds a Master’s of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She is currently working on her counseling residency to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Before completing her 60-hour professional counseling degree, Rachel worked as the female graduate intern in Student Care. She was also a graduate intern at Wyndhurst Counseling where she worked with individuals with anxiety and anxiety-related disorders providing cognitive therapy and biofeedback.  

Rachel recognizes that everyone has a story that can be filled with pain and joy and that through our story we can find hope for transformation and redemption.

In addition to counseling services, Rachel has a heart for missions and worked for a semester in South Asia prior to beginning her internship. Rachel is newly engaged to her fiancé, Jon, and they are planning a late fall wedding.
