Specialized Programs

Army ROTC Nursing

The Army ROTC Nursing program offers the opportunity to gain practical nursing experience while receiving financial assistance for college with nursing majors competing for 2-, 3-, or 4-year scholarships. Cadets will develop leadership skills, self-confidence, flexibility, and adaptability before being commissioned as Army Nurse Corps officers worldwide.

For more information on the ROTC Nursing program, please visit the Army Nursing website.

Chaplain Corps

Our office receives quite a few questions on how to become a Chaplain in the Army. While we don’t offer a direct program, there are several opportunities to serve as a Chaplain in the U.S. Army.

For more information, visit the United States Army Chaplain Corps website.

Green to Gold

The Army Green to Gold program provides eligible active duty enlisted soldiers an opportunity to complete a baccalaureate degree or graduate degree and be commissioned as Army officers upon receiving the appropriate degrees.

For more information on this program, please visit the Green to Gold website.

Army ROTC Simultaneous Membership Program

The Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) offer the SMP to qualified full time college students who are members of the Army National Guard or willing to join. SMP is a two-year program whereby cadets serve in the Army National Guard and attend ROTC classes "simultaneously". Cadets receive a commission as a 2nd lieutenant in the United States Army after completion of a bachelor's degree or graduate degree and the ROTC advanced course. Newly commissioned officers then serve in the Army National Guard or on active duty.
