SOAR Achievement Award

The SOAR Award celebrates a Minority and/or International Liberty University Student who exemplifies outstanding character, Godliness, citizenship and aids in the community environment. To be considered for the SOAR award, students must be nominated by a faculty or staff member.

Nominations

To nominate a student for a SOAR Award, you must be a Liberty University faculty or staff member. Please email studentconduct@liberty.edu with the following information:

• Student’s Name
• Student's Identification Number
• Contact Information (Liberty University e-mail address and/or cell phone number)

SOAR Requirements

Nominees must:

• Maintain full-time student status at Liberty University. Graduating seniors who do not need more than 12 hours for graduation are exempt from this requirement.
• Be a junior or senior with at least 2 semesters at Liberty
• Maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0.
• Not accumulate more than 10 reprimands during the semester of their nomination and must not have accumulated more than 12 reprimands during any semester within a year prior to nomination.
• Not be on any form of probation or suspension (disciplinary, academic, etc.).
• Participate in an interview with the Selection Committee
• Be approved by the Office of Student Conduct.
