Our annual Achievement Awards banquet honors high achieveving minorty and international students at Liberty University as well as Faculty/Staff who Demonstrate a superior commitment to improving minority student’s education. Also, as of 2009, thanks to the Multicultural Advisory Board, we added the Dr. Allen McFarland Award of Excellence. Each year this award is given to a minorty alumnus doing great things in God's Kingdom. Look below to see if you qualify for either our Freshman of the Year Award, Christian Service Award, or the coveted Achievement Award*.

Freshman of the Year Qualifications

  • Ethnic Minority 
  • Freshman Status
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5
  • 8 or less reprimands in the last semester
  • Excels in Christian character and participates in the campus community

Christian Service Award Qualifications

  • Nominated by a department or Student Government Association club
  • Any classification
  • 8 or less reprimands in the last semester
  • Excels in Christian character and participates in the campus community

Achievement Award Qualifications

  • Ethnic Minority
  • Graduating Senior (May 2013)
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.5
  • 8 or less reprimands in the last semester
  • Excels in Christian character and participates in the campus community
