Mental Health ScreeningMental Health Screening

Because mental health is a key part of your overall well-being, it’s good to find out if you should connect with a mental health professional. A brief screening is the quickest way to do this. This is completely anonymous and confidential. Immediately following the brief screening questionnaire, you’ll see your results, recommendations, and key resources.

Contact us to schedule your appointment.

Appointments are usually between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Monday-Friday) and last 45-50 minutes. If you have been to SCS before, you can meet with the same counselor or request a new one. You will be assessed in your initial visit to help determine your best type of care. Then you’ll receive a recommendation for further care.

Treatment Recommendations May Include:

  • Mental health crisis services (on-call)

  • Extended psychotherapy with a community provider

  • Psychiatric evaluation with a community provider

  • Referral to another office, such as LU Shepherd, Academic Success Center, etc.

If you have received counseling services with us, please consider taking our survey.
