Requirements for Submitting Convocation Announcements 

Thank you for your interest in getting an announcement at Convocation. We are no longer accepting slides for announcements. All announcements will now be in the form of videos. 

The videos will be shown in "pre-roll" before Convocation starts. The number of videos will be limited and will be chosen by the Convocation committee a week in advance. We are looking for high quality videos that will also be interesting and entertaining for our students. So give it your best shot!

Requirements

  • Videos submissions must be submitted at least two weeks in advance
  • Videos need to be High-Resolution MP4 files.
  • Videos must be submitted in 1080x1920 resolution.
  • Videos should be no longer than 45 seconds, but we've found the shorter the message, the more memorable it is.
  • Videos should be interesting and entertaining for our students.
  • Videos should include important information as graphics on top of or beside the video so students will get the message even if they can't hear the audio.
