The Next Level Summer Camps at the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre take place on one of the largest college campuses in the world. With 7,000 acres, Liberty University is not short for space and continues to develop the best recreational facilities. From the first Snowflex facility in North and South America to the Liberty Mountain Skate Park and world-class hiking and biking trails, Liberty University has it all. The campers are able to visit these facilities during the summer months. Below is a brief overview of the facilities that may be used during our summer camps.

Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre

The Snowflex Centre is the cornerstone facility for the Next Level Summer Camps. As the first Snowflex facility in North and South America, LMSC continues to grow and expand freestyle snow sports every year since its Grand Opening in August of 2009. The facility has three jump options and over 40 different jibs, boxes, and rails. We are built for one thing: year-round freestyle progression.

Liberty Mountain Skate Park

The 8,600-square-foot skate park is located in the Candler’s Station Shopping Center and is accessible through the Drowsy Poet Coffee Shop courtyard. The facility features a foam pit for learning aerials, as well as a half pipe, rails, boxes, and an observation deck. The park can be used for skateboards, BMX bicycles, and roller blades.

LaHaye Student Union

As part of the LaHaye Student Union, the Recreation and Fitness Center offers a 25-yard, six-lane indoor swimming pool; five-court basketball gymnasium; rock climbing wall; and two multi-purpose aerobic rooms.

Thomas Indoor Soccer Center

Also part of the LaHaye Student Union, the Thomas Indoor Soccer Center is perfect for playing a friendly game of soccer. Comprised of two turf fields that are partially surrounded by see-through walls, the facility also features a spectator section, multiple televisions, and wireless capability.

Paintball Fields

LU’s Paintball Team now has a place on campus to prepare for competitions. The complex consists of two fields with a retractable netting system made with a protective mesh. Students may watch the team behind the safety of the netting during practices. Future expansion and upgrades to the paintball fields are planned.

Reber-Thomas Dining Hall

More so than ever before, we know it's our responsibility to offer a combination of choices and convenience to the students right here in the main student restaurant, the Reber-Thomas Dining Hall. We offer special events, tastings, and themes throughout the year to keep students engaged and interested in their dining plan, as well as to teach them about forming healthy eating habits and smart alternatives to junk food.

Residence Halls

The Hill (Residence Halls M17-M23) is a traditional residence hall community. Centrally located, the Hill is next to DeMoss Hall, the bookstore, and Reber-Thomas dining hall. Laundry facilities are located in M20 and mailbox kiosk locations are in the Hangar, behind DeMoss Hall.

Cinemark Movies 10

Cinemark Movies 10 is a dollar theater located within Liberty University's Campus, where the movie titles shown are between big box office and Redbox and only cost $2.00. We monitor the titles and ratings and offer a few showings throughout our afternoon activity times. We will allow the campers of 13 to view PG-13, but if this is an issue please let us know. We don't allow anyone to view R-rated movies.
