Mr. Ben Forrest
After graduating from college at a small Christian university in Idaho, I packed up my car and moved to Virginia to a LBTS because I was looking for an education that would affirm the authority of scripture. I found what I was looking for here at Liberty. In May of 2007 I graduated with my MAR in Theology/Apologetics followed by an MRE in December of 2007. Upon graduation and sensing the Lord’s calling, I enrolled in the Ed.D. at Liberty University. I graduated with the Ed.S. in 2010 and will finish the Ed.D. in 2013. My dissertation research is on the experiences of seminary spouses. I hope to explore the spiritually formative experiences of seminary spouses.
I married my beautiful bride Lerisa in 2009. We have a wonderful daughter named Reagan Adeline who is almost 2 years old. In May Reagan will get a baby brother or sister. Lerisa is originally from Michigan. She moved to Liberty in 2005 and graduated in 2010 with a degree in communications. We don’t have a lot of spare time these days, but we enjoy spending time with family and watching Boise State Football (I am slowly indoctrinating her to leave her Big Ten biases). I currently serve the seminary as the Chair of Practical Studies.
