College can be confusing and we want to make sure you don’t get lost in the shuffle. The Student Advocate Office (SAO) is a one-stop-shop for helping you get your questions answered.

Have questions about financial aid, housing, account holds and balances, personal issues, or roommate conflicts? We serve as a liaison with other offices and departments on campus to help you get your questions answered. We also help clarify and explain University policies and procedures.

Our focus is to help you from your first day at Liberty all the way to graduation, whether that be through problem-solving, peer counseling, walk-in appointments, financial aid, and scholarship help or just a helping hand and listening ear, we are here for you.

Visit us in CASAS, located on the first floor of DeMoss Hall, Room 1100. SAO is open for walk-in visits on weekdays 8 a.m.-4 p.m. except during Convocation.  Scheduled appointments available upon request.

  • Spring registration is now open. Be sure to use the new Course Registration Tool and let SAO know if you have any questions.
  • Don't forget to check your Student Checklist for dates and deadlines this semester.
  • Residential undergraduate students are eligible for a Priority Program Scholarship drawing if course registration and Financial Check-In (FCI) are completed by Dec. 27, 2018. Contact SAO for details.
  • New student Welcome Week events start on Jan. 11, 2019.
