The Studio Creative Community, an LU art club, hosted a "Style Your Sole" event Monday at the DeMoss courtyard.
Student artists were on hand to help decorate shoes that were pre-ordered by students. There was also live music, food and coffee donated by local businesses.

Liberty’s annual Fall Communion Service was held Wednesday in the Schilling Center. This year, the interactive, experiential walk-thru service (held during Campus Church in the past) allowed staff and faculty to join students in a memorable worship experience.

The Liberty Center for Church Planting concluded a four-day “Storm the Gates” Church Planting Emphasis Week on Saturday.
“Storm the Gates was only Liberty’s second Church Planting Emphasis Week in its history, and it also was a huge success,” said Dr. Dave Earley, director of the Liberty Center for Church Planting at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.

Thanks to two recent developments, Financial Aid information just became easier to access and manage. Last month Liberty began partnering with Financial Aid TV, a firm based in San Francisco, Calif., to provide online video counseling for Financial Aid recipients and their parents in a YouTube format.

Liberty University students arrived at Heritage High School to vote in full force on Tuesday, braving the rain to ride public transit provided by LU or driving there in small groups.
Two Liberty students — easy to identify by their LU sweatshirts — paused outside the high school in Lynchburg, Va., to explain how being Christians and LU students would influence their decision at the poll.

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina visited Liberty University on Tuesday to motivate Virginians to join the campaign for McCain.
“I’m here because we’re trying to win Virginia,” Graham said. “The positive message of Senator McCain needs to be told.”
