This page lists physical supply needs, for computer knowledge needed to be successful in our courses, please check out our digital literacy requirements

 

Supply Lists:

A course specific supply list will be given within each individual course syllabus, where applicable.

 

Hardware:

·        1.6 GHZ or Higher Processor

·        2 GB of Memory

·        150 MB of Hard Disk Space

·        800 x 600 or Higher Resolution Monitor, 16 bit color

·        Desktop or laptop - at this time we cannot guarantee user experience with a netbook, Chromebook or mobile device, including a tablet. 

·        Webcam with Microphone 

·        Printer Required for Grades K - 8, Recommended for 9-12

·        Scanner Required for Grades K - 8, Recommended for 9-12

 

Software/Services:

·        High Speed Internet Service - at least 1 Mbps connection speed (Satellite internet does not work well due to the latency of the connection)

·        Microsoft Office for Windows or Mac (Office 365 is available free to LUOA students)

·        Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome

·        Adobe Flash

·        Adobe Reader

·        Java.
