Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling — Addictions and Recovery

Liberty University’s Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling— Addictions and Recovery is designed to equip students with the theoretical basis of addictions and the ability to clinically assess and diagnose individuals with substance-related problems.

Courses provide students training in Christian discipleship, with a strong understanding of biological and neurobiological aspects of addiction, as well as treatment options, recommendations, intervention planning, and psychopharmacology.

Graduates of this program are prepared for a wide range of positions, as well as advanced studies at the postgraduate level through a number of online doctoral and postgraduate degree programs offered by Liberty.
