Important Liberty Landing Announcement

As of August 1st, 2017 we will be transitioning to a different social media platform. Though we are saddened to leave behind the familiar social setting of Liberty Landing (SchoolsApp), we’re excited to introduce you to the new connections, opportunities, and features that are available to you and your peers within Liberty’s Yammer community.

Yammer is a social media platform and community that functions similarly to Liberty Landing, featuring an interactive newsfeed and an easy to use mobile app. New features include integration with Office 365, the ability to create and collaborate in groups, and the opportunity to connect with Liberty’s broader social network, which includes our alumni, faculty, staff, and students.

Some thoughts or questions you may have:

Why make a change?

  • Liberty University students study with us from all over the world, and we want to make sure that the growing social and networking needs are met for all. Throughout the past three years, we have identified a growing need for new and exciting features that Liberty Landing (SchoolsApp) is not able to offer.

What does this transition mean for those who are part of the Liberty Landing community?

  • On Tuesday, August 1st, Liberty Landing will no longer be accessible.

How do I reconnect with my Liberty Landing peers within Yammer?

  • Join our community in Yammer today! Visit for instructions on how to join. Be sure to use your Liberty username when logging in.

We have enjoyed seeing, and being a part of, the close knit community that Liberty Landing has created for our students studying in our online programs, and look forward to re-establishing our close knit community when we connect with one another again in Yammer!

Until then,
LUO Enrollment Staff
