Liberty students provide relief in Hurricane Sandy aftermath

This week, 43 Liberty University undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff from the Center for Ministry Training rolled up their sleeves and put the love of Jesus into action as they provided relief to victims of Hurricane Sandy’s devastation.
Liberty’s CMT team partnered with the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia and the North American Mission Board on the trip to Staten Island, N.Y. In September 2011, more than 300 Liberty students provided disaster relief to flood victims in New York — the first time SBCV had asked a college group to help.
