A great partnership: Liberty University and the military
Since 1971, Liberty University has been committed to providing quality education to America’s Armed Forces. Liberty is considered a leader among military-friendly schools, not only for the many benefits it offers exclusively to veterans, active military and their spouses, but also for the efficient processing of military Tuition Assistance and GI Bill® benefits through its Military Affairs Office.
GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
As the world’s largest evangelical university, Liberty University believes in providing each student with the necessary tools to achieve their life’s goals — mentally, physically, emotionally and, most importantly, spiritually. In order to be successful in our mission, we must be available to help those making the transition from deployment to civilian life and show appreciation and support for their service. For additional support, student veterans have the opportunity to join various student groups such as Students Behind our Servicemembers (SBS) and Student Veterans Group (SVG) and to participate in Military Emphasis Week.
