Prior Learning Assessment for Legal Secretary
Liberty University awards credit for the Professional Legal Secretary certification from the National Association of Legal Secretaries. Credit is awarded on the basis of college credit recommendations from the American Council on Education.

At this time, portfolios are not admitted for legal secretary or paralegals. Liberty University will only award credit for Legal Secretaries through the national certification.
Prior Learning Assessment is only applicable to undergraduate degree programs. Before applying for PLA, please be aware that it is viewed only as transfer credit and will not be accepted as credit taken through Liberty University. It is not applicable to graduate degree programs.
