Professional License for Aviation

Liberty University awards up to 30 credits for the following licenses:

  • Private: AVIA 210, 215, 220, 225 = 10 Credit Hours
  • Instrument: AVIA 210, 215, 220, 225, 310, 320 = 16 Credit Hours
  • Commercial: AVIA 210, 215, 220, 225, 310, 315, 320, 325, 326, 327 = 22 Credit Hours
  • Instructor: AVIA 210, 215, 220, 225, 310, 315, 320, 325, 326, 327, 410, 420 = 26 Credit Hours
  • Multi-engine rating w/ Instrument and Commercial Rating: AVIA 210, 215, 220, 225, 310, 315, 320, 325, 326, 327, 440 = 23 Credit Hours
  •  Airplane Transport Pilot: AVIA 210, 215, 220, 225, 310, 315, 320, 325, 326, 327, 350, 440 = 26 Credit Hours
  • Unmanned Aerial System: AVIA 235, 335 = 4 Credit Hours  NOTE:  This will be changing to 6 Credit Hours in Fall 2015
  • Aviation Maintenance Technician: AVMT 100, 102, 104, 106, 200, 202, 204, 206, 208, 210 = 30 Credit Hours
  • Aviation Maintenance Management:  AVMT 100, 102, 104, 106, 200, 202, 204, 206, 208, 210, 212, 214, 216, 218, 220 = 45 Credit Hours
