Liberty University awards credit for these certifications, earned through the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). Dantes Subject Standardized Tests (DSST)
There are a wide variety of DSST exams available for those who have experience in the field of business. DSST tests are offered all over the nation through DSST approved testing centers. Please review the fact sheets for these exams, to determine your level of knowledge and proficiency. Please review the LU minimum required score for these exams. DSST business exams include the following:
- Financial Accounting
- Human Resource Management
- Principles of Supervision
- Intro to Business
- Intro to Computing
Liberty University provides portfolio assessment for administrative professionals. Portfolios must demonstrate college-level learning. Portfolios must also include direct evidence of knowledge in the subject-matter. Please review the Course Guide to determine your level of proficiency. Some portfolios that may be applicable to administrative skills are as follows:

- BUSI 300
- CMIS 201
Prior Learning Assessment is only applicable to undergraduate degree programs. Before applying for PLA, please be aware that it is viewed only as transfer credit and will not be accepted as credit taken through Liberty University. It is not applicable to graduate degree programs.
