Coast Guard, Marines & Navy Tuition Assistance
Tuition Assistance (TA) is a benefit offered to service members to assist with the cost of tuition. TA typically covers 100% of tuition, up to the $250 per credit hour and $4500 per military fiscal year caps. Our undergraduate tuition rate is $250 per credit hour and our graduate programs are discounted for military personnel, to bring the tuition down to the $250 credit hour cap.

How to Enroll
Step 1 - Contact Your Academic Advisor
Your academic advisor will review your account to confirm academic and financial standing and help you in course selection. You can contact an Academic Advisor by calling (800) 424-9595 or by emailing email@example.com.
Step 2 - Login to ASIST to Register Online
Go to www.LUonline.com
Click on Current Students
Enter your username and password
Under My Access, click ASIST
Click on Student and Financial Aid
Click on Registration, then Add or Drop Classes
Select a term and follow the online instructions provided to add a course
Continue adding until the desired amount of courses has been added to your schedule
Step 3 - Apply for TA
Apply for TA online, using links provided below, or contact your education office on base. Please make a note of your registration information (course titles, enrollment dates, etc.) as this will be required on the TA application. Once approved, you will receive the authorized form.
Step 4 - Submit TA form to the Office of Military Affairs
Your TA form may be submitted by fax to (434) 455-1287 or (800) 628-7977, or scanned/emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. TA forms must be submitted prior to completion of financial check-in.
Step 5 - Complete Financial Check-In
The Office of Military Affairs will post the authorized amount of TA to your student account and send you an email to your Liberty University email address. Financial Check-In is the final step that completes the online registration process. Once you have successfully completed financial check-in, the online registration process is complete.
Note: Please do not complete Financial Check-In until you receive a confirmation email indicating that your TA has been processed.
To complete Financial Check-In:
Go to www.liberty.edu/online
Click My LU Sign In
Click ASIST (under My Access)
Click Financial Check-in
Step 6: Once the term is completed, we will submit your grades to the military.
