Biography

Dr. Kennedy has multiple years of combined nursing experience at the bedside, classroom, and online teaching at Liberty University School of Nursing. Dr. Kennedy began her nursing career in the Medical ICU and finished her bedside career in the Surgical Trauma ICU. She has an interest in critical care nursing and is a certified alumnus critical care nurse. She has taught across all programs and currently teaches in the graduate program overseeing the DNP practicum courses. In addition, Dr. Kennedy is certified in nursing informatics and brings this knowledge to online courses dealing with this topic in the MSN and DNP programs.
