Liberty pitcher Andrew Wilson has been selected in the 36th round (1,078 overall pick) of the Major League Baseball Draft by the Atlanta Braves on the final day of the three-day first-year player draft.
Wilson (RHP, 6-2, 180, Cary, N.C.), who completed his final season this spring with the Flames, becomes the 39th player in Liberty history to be taken in the MLB Draft and the second to be drafted by the Atlanta Braves organization.
