Campus observes Housekeeping Appreciation Day

Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr. and his wife, Becki, honored Liberty’s Facilities Department on Wednesday, June 3. The custodial employees are responsible for all cleaning services and recycling in campus offices, dorms, classrooms and athletics facilities.

“We deeply appreciate the commitment of our custodians in keeping our facilities clean on a daily basis,” Falwell said. “No matter what level of excellence we achieve in academics and other programs, it would be difficult to recruit students if our facilities were not kept so immaculate.”

Facilities manager David Hill and his department were treated to a pizza party, courtesy of the Falwells.

“We wanted to make sure their work does not go unnoticed and unappreciated,” Falwell said.
