LaHaye Student Center acquires new exercise machines

Liberty University students, faculty and staff can now enhance their workouts thanks to an equipment upgrade at the LaHaye Student Center. Along with seven new treadmills and seven self-generated ellipticals, the center has added a Cybex Arc Trainer and two Precor Adaptive Motion Trainers (AMT). A cross between an elliptical and a stair stepper, both the Arc and the AMT increase the user’s stride, providing a better total body workout.

“Our goal is to offer an elite fitness experience,” said Ben Cook, LU’s Associate Director of Fitness. “That starts not just with having a nice facility, but also equipping it with some of the best in the market right now. We feel like we have done that with what we have to offer here.”
