TALKIN’ TURKEY: Deans announce Saturday’s Turkey Bowl between seminary and law school

Dr Ergun Caner, Dean of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and Mat Staver, Dean of Liberty University School of Law, spar jokingly at convocation as they announce this weekend’s Turkey Bowl, a football game between seminary students and law students starting at 2 p.m. Saturday at Williams Stadium.

Staver held up a barbell to show what he is using to get in shape for the game, then handed Caner a bag of Cheetos and said that is what Caner is using for his workout. Just like the announcement, the game is all in fun.

The teams are asking for a $1 donation, with proceeds going to the Liberty Godparent Home.
