Convocation to host CEO, reality star, and singer-songwriter next week

Next week, Liberty University’s Convocation will bring a prominent CEO, a singer-songwriter, and a reality television star to the stage to challenge and inspire students.

On Monday, Oct. 23, singer-songwriter and actress Caitlin Crosby will share what it’s like working in the entertainment and fashion industry. Crosby founded The Giving Keys, a Los Angeles based jewelry company that creates artistic pieces with keys. The company aims to inspire others by paying it forward and having their customers give away jewelry.

Bob Beaudine, CEO and president of Eastman & Beaudine, a firm that helps companies find candidates to fill executive leadership positions, will speak to the crowd on Wednesday, Oct. 25. Beaudine is also the author of the best-selling book “The Power of WHO.”

“The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise” contestant Christen Whitney will be on campus for Convocation on Friday, Oct. 27. She will explain how her love for Jesus has helped her navigate being single and searching for true love in the national spotlight.

As previously announced, Jerusalem-based worship band, Miqedem, will lead students in worship during Convocation before pastor of King of Kings Congregation Wayne Hilsden shares a message this Wednesday. Then on Friday, Convocation will feature pastor Chris Hodges of one of America’s largest congregations: Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Ala.

A 10-day Convocation schedule is announced each Monday.
