Alumna Shannon Bream to host new late night show for FOX News

A familiar face will be behind the desk when FOX News launches a new late night program on Oct. 30. Shannon Bream, a 1993 Liberty University graduate, will anchor “Fox News @ Night,” a hard-hitting news and analysis show featuring compelling stories and breaking leads from the nation’s capital. The show is slated for 11 p.m. EST.

Noting the never-ending nature of the news cycle, a press release from the network said the show will “function as a capstone on today’s most consequential news, with an eye toward setting the table for tomorrow’s ever-changing developments.”

Bream joined FOX News in 2007 and has served the network as an expert on the inner workings of the Supreme Court. In January, she became a co-host on “America’s Newsroom,” where she led the network’s coverage of President Trump’s First Supreme Court nomination.

“It has been an honor to work alongside the hardest-working team in the news business for the past 10 years,” Bream said in the release. “I am delighted to bring our audience an hour of captivating television, providing viewers with a recap of the day’s most important stories and the latest breaking news.”

Bream graduated from Liberty with a degree in business before earning a law degree at Florida State University. In May 2013, Bream made Liberty history as its first female keynote Commencement speaker. She remains actively connected to Liberty, regularly meeting with students and alumni interning or working in Washington, D.C., as well as giving students tours at the network’s studio. She has celebrated Liberty’s accomplishments on her social media, including Liberty Football’s recent historic win over Baylor.
