Baseball Stadium ranked among top stadium experiences of 2014

The Liberty Baseball Stadium has been ranked among the top 100 stadium experiences of 2014 by the Stadium Journey website. The list includes professional venues across the globe, with Oriole Park at Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles, taking the top spot. Liberty’s stadium is listed No. 52.

The ratings took into account the food and beverage served in the stadium, the overall atmosphere, the neighborhood where the stadium is located, the fans, access (which includes traffic, parking, ability to move around, and restrooms), the overall return on investment, and one final “extras” category.

“The facility has drawn nationwide acclaim in its short time of existence, and it sets a clear standard to which programs of its class should aspire,” the website states.

This past July, Liberty Baseball Stadium was ranked No. 5 in best college ballpark experiences of 2014 by Stadium Journey.
