A video created by a Liberty University student that went viral earlier this year has been recognized as the No. 1 YouTube video of 2013 in the United Kingdom and was No. 3 on YouTube’s Top Trending Videos of 2013.

The video, “How Animals Eat Their Food,” features Liberty senior Nick Sjolinder and alumnus Ian Deibert (’13).

Sjolinder created the video for his website www.MisterEpicMann.com. He said he did not have high expectations for the video when it posted.

“The fact that the video has received all these top stats is great but is also hard to comprehend,” Sjolinder said. “I don’t think it will ever really sink in … it’s too mind blowing. But I am blessed regardless.”

Fullscreen, a leading network of YouTube content creators, now owns Sjolinder’s YouTube channel and employs him as its creative director.

Sjolinder is currently studying in the Cinematic Arts, Zaki Gordon Center and owns his own film company, Lost Light Films. He said his time at Liberty has been very meaningful to him.

“The Christian community at Liberty is so valuable,” he said. “The school is blessed by the Lord and it shows. I call it home.”
