Birthdays are always a cause for celebration, and even today - the day Dr. Jerry Falwell would have turned 75 - there was celebration.
As signs around the Montview Mansion on the Liberty University campus read, it was a celebration of the memories and the ongoing mission of “our pastor, our chancellor, our friend.”

Six temporary suites are currently being installed at Williams Stadium for the upcoming football season. This year, those reserving these comfortable box seats can enjoy up to seven Flames home games.
Liberty’s season opener against North Greenville is only weeks away.

Community Appreciation Day was held Saturday at The LaHaye Ice Center on the campus of Liberty University. Guests joined in free skating, free food, prizes, inflatable bouncers and games such as broomball, hockey and roller ball. Learn to Skate and figure skating demonstrations were also offered.

The parking lot below David’s Place (the building that houses Liberty University’s Center for Worship and the Department of Ministry Teams) is getting a long-awaited facelift. Crews have been laying gravel and doing curbing work this week. Paving is set to begin on Aug. 13 and the project is expected to be completed by Aug. 18, the first day of the fall semester.

When students show up for their first convocation service of the semester on Aug. 20, they will be greeted by the sounds of the Campus Praise Band leading Liberty University’s largest-ever student body in a special time of worship.

Gearing up to train champions for Christ, Liberty University faculty gathered Tuesday at an orientation meeting intended to inspire and inform them for the upcoming academic year.
Chancellor Jerry Falwell Jr. was among the speakers offering words of encouragement at the event held at Campus North.

Liberty University’s faculty and staff joined with Thomas Road Baptist Church, Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and Liberty Christian Academy employees in an unprecedented prayer service at the TRBC Worship Center Tuesday afternoon.

Fall semester classes may not start for two weeks, but already resident assistants are preparing to meet their students’ needs.
Under the Office of Student Leadership, resident assistants (or RAs) are responsible for pastoral-like leadership for the dorms in the areas of discipline, discipleship and general oversight of residential students.
