Liberty University’s Winterfest is under way at the Vines Center. At this year’s annual event thousands will ring in the New Year listening to Stellar Kart, Sanctus Real, Jeremy Camp and other Christian artists.

Liberty University welcomed thousands at its Winterfest kick-off today. Starting at 12 p.m. Winterfest attendees could ice skate at the LaHaye Ice Center and check out Liberty’s facilities. At 6 p.m. junior and senior high school students had the chance to attend an artist meet-and-greet session.

Liberty University is pleased to announce Pepsi as the first corporate sponsor of the Ultimate LU campaign. Under the agreement, the beverage company will help support the university's men's and women's hockey teams as well as various on-campus events and outdoor activities.

For the second year in a row, the Columbia Scholastic Press out of Columbia University has named the 2008 edition of Liberty University’s “Selah” yearbook as one of the top collegiate yearbooks in the country. The ‘I Am’ edition was one of only nine collegiate books in the United States to receive this recognition.

Liberty University hosted a National Guard holiday program on Saturday, Dec. 13. The First Battalion 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team held its holiday program, which consisted of a dinner and an information fair, in the Liberty Schilling Center and Reber-Thomas Dinning Hall.
