Lady Flames BSC champions, head to NCAA tourney

The Lady Flames celebrated their third straight Big South Conference title Sunday night. No. 2 seed Liberty won in a dramatic 68-66 victory over No. 1 seed Gardner-Webb at the Millis Center in High Point, N.C. This is Liberty’s 13th championship in the last 14 seasons.

The Lady Flames will travel to Louisville, Ky., as the No. 13 seed for an NCAA first-round tilt against No. 4 seed Kentucky on Saturday.
