Law grads hit 100 percent first-time pass rate on North Carolina Bar Exam

Liberty University School of Law has announced that all graduates who took the North Carolina Bar Exam for the first time in July have passed. From 2007-2015, Liberty Law graduates passed the North Carolina Bar at a rate of about 61 percent, which is slightly higher than the total pass rate in July of nearly 57 percent.

“We are extremely proud of our North Carolina bar exam takers,” said B. Keith Faulkner, dean of Liberty Law. “They worked very hard preparing for the exam, and this work, coupled with Liberty Law’s solid program of legal education, proved successful on one of the most difficult bar examinations in the country.”

Last year, Liberty Law had the highest pass rate on the Virginia Bar Exam among first-time test takers. The results from the latest exam, taken in July, will be announced at the end of October.

The university has been recognized among the top schools for Bar Exam preparation.
