Meet the Discipleship Team
The Discipleship Team is a group of devoted, God-seeking students committed to serving our Lord, the churches we visit and each other in a way that glorifies Christ. Our team has prepared and studied workshops on a number of issues youth face and battle every day, which we make available every weekend to every church. Our goal is to work with the church so as to increase the knowledge of the youth and promote the benefit of applied knowledge to ultimately glorify God. We want to love you, hang out with you and help you grow towards a true and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.

Why YQ? YQ is a ministry that I absolutely love. I believe it is where God has placed me, and I enjoy the work He has set for me to do here. Why YouthQuest? Because it is the greatest opportunity I have in college to faithful spread the gospel entrusted to me.

Why YQ? Youth Quest is a unique opportunity that not many people have the change to get. I believe God has called me to be a preacher, teacher, and pastor of a local church. This opportunity will allow teaching and me to sharpen my preaching and also strengthen my team skills.

Why YQ? My passion is ministering to and mentoring young women. I love getting to share with them the love of Christ and seeing the gospel change their lives. Youth Quest is an amazing ministry that gets to influence so many teenagers. I am so thankful that the Lord has placed me on this team so that He can use me to speak truth into lives.

Why YQ? For years my passion has been working with teenage students by way of mentoring and discipleship, I’ve always sought an outlet for meshing that passion with a ministry. The way that I found out about YouthQuest was somewhat of a “divine appointment” when I heard about it during my Youth 201 class; it piqued my interest so I signed up for an interview and the rest of the story is history!

Why YQ? I'm Dustin Wells and I am 20 years old in my 3rd year at Liberty studying Pastoral Leadership. When God opened the door for me to be able to serve on YouthQuest I knew that I needed to say yes. Especially seeing how this team allows individuals to use the gifts that God blessed them with to further His Kingdom in the lives of students everywhere. I'm very excited to see the lessons that God is going to teach my heart as I seek to serve the students and my own teammates.
