Quick Search Beta Tips

Quick Search is a search tool where you can quickly search multiple library databases at the same time.

TIPS:

• Use the "Show Abstract" option (where available) to preview contents of the articles.
• Use the "Get it @ LU" link (if available). It provides your options for full-text articles and/or InterLibrary loan.
• Be patient, as some databases may take longer than others to search and retrieve results.
• Too many or irrelevant results?
• Change your search from a "Keyword" search to a "Title" search.
• Enclosing your search phrase in quotes (e.g., "vertical integration") works in most databases.
• Try a different Quick Search subject group or create you own combination of databases by using the Advanced Search option.
