Senior Administrative Assistant to the Associate Deans
Kareen Ousley serves as the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Associate Deans at the College of Osteopathic Medicine. In this role, she supports the Associate Deans and LUCOM with scheduling, purchasing, and file management. She enjoys serving as a liaison between faculty, staff, and students.
Kareen moved to Lynchburg in March 2013 with her husband, Barry Ousley. They moved from Charlotte, N.C., where she worked at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. There, she served as Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Information Systems. Prior to that, she assisted the Associate Dean of Health Affairs at the Florida State University College of Medicine.
Kareen earned an AAS degree in Office Technology, an AAS in Information Technology, and qualified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). She completed a BA in Religious Studies and plans to pursue a master’s degree at Liberty.
