Area of Study in Law Planning

With an area of study in planning, you will learn how to implement effective solutions to meet clients’ objectives. Specifically, courses cover estate and business planning, as well as tax laws. Students who complete this area of study will be equipped to handle a robust array of transactional and planning engagements.

To earn your Area of Study in Law Planning, you must complete the following courses with a grade of B- or higher.

  • Business Associations
  • Business Planning
  • Estate Planning
  • Taxation of Businesses
  • Taxation of Estates and Gifts
  • Taxation of Individuals
  • Wills, Trusts, and Estates

An audited course cannot be used to satisfy an area of study requirement.
