Student Advocate Office

About the SAO

The Student Advocate Office (SAO) is a "one-stop" office for answers to all your questions.

It is normal for college students to have questions about financial aid, housing, account holds, balances, personal issues and roommate conflicts. We serve as a liaison for you to other departments to help you get your questions answered.

Our primary focus is to help each resident student from their first day at Liberty to graduation – whether through problem solving, peer counseling, one-on-one appointments, financial aid guidance, scholarship assistance or just a helping hand and listening ear, we are here for you.

Advising Appointments

If you are a freshman, sophomore or new transfer student for the Spring of 2015, you will be receiving correspondence soon from your Professional Advisor in CASAS (Center for Academic Support and Advising Services) via email or phone. To be able to register for classes for the Fall 2015, you will be required to schedule an appointment or take an assessment.

To connect with your advisor, please visit www.Liberty.edu/CASAS and choose "Professional Advising."

If you are a junior or senior, please visit your school's home web page, choose "Student Advising," and email the professors of your choice to set up an appointment. This is not required, but highly recommended.
