Biography

Susan Alkire serves the law school as Associate Director of Admissions, assisting in recruitment, managing the implementation of the Student Ambassador program and the LSAT prep course, and lecturing on the admissions process. As a Liberty Law alumnus, Alkire brings a unique perspective to the Admissions Department as she assists prospective students in understanding the law school experience.

As a law student, Alkire served as a Student Ambassador, SBA secretary, and prayer mentor. Alkire was a part of the inaugural class on Israel and Middle Eastern International Law and Policy and is uniquely positioned to develop and expand these opportunities for future students. While in Israel, Alkire completed an externship working under the former Advisor to the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. This externship experience was critical in developing her area of interest in law.

Her legal focus is in Israel and Middle Eastern law and policy, international law and policy, Constitutional law, and family law issues. She gives back to the community by volunteering in multiple capacities. She leads multiple Bible studies and speaks at women’s retreats throughout the country.

Prior to attending Liberty Law, Alkire was a Life Services Director for a Crisis Pregnancy Center, a high school teacher, and an executive assistant. Her experience includes teaching, managing employees, students, offices, and events.

Alkire's degrees include an associate's in liberal arts and a bachelor's in Clinical Psychology, in addition to her Juris Doctorate.
