Mark Trammell is a 2012 alumnus of Liberty University School of Law and the Legal Director of the Liberty Center for Law and Policy (LCLP), a partnership between Liberty University School of Law and Liberty Counsel. Previously, Trammell served the State’s Attorney’s Office for Frederick County, Maryland, as a law clerk.

Trammell monitors and analyzes legislation and policy and works with local, state, and federal elected and appointed officials and agencies in drafting legislation that relates to the sanctity of life, the family, and religious liberties. He also interacts with elected and appointed government officials to instigate opportunities for internships and externships for Liberty University School of Law students.

As a law student, Trammell spent years gaining valuable legal experience by serving as a legal intern for Weber Pearson PC, of Roanoke, VA, and as a policy intern for Family Research Council of Washington, D.C. where he gained experience in 501(c)(3) status and media decency regulations. Trammell also interned with Congressman Roscoe Bartlett, 6th District of Maryland. His internship career began in 2010 when he worked as a legal and policy intern for the LCLP. When Trammell was not interning, he was involved as a board member for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and as a volunteer for the Street Law program.
