Israel Study Abroad

Israel Intensive & Tour 2013
Optional Externship Opportunity

Liberty University School of Law students who wish to enhance their Study Abroad in Israel experience may elect to serve in an externship position following the course studies. The eight-week externship program begins June 3, 2013 and ends July 26, 2013. This ‘live-client’ and other real-life practice experience will help to further prepare them for the practice of law. Students interested in the externship program should contact Liberty University School of Law Associate Dean for External Affairs, Suzanne Caruso (sfcaruso@liberty.edu), who will provide the faculty supervision for the Study Abroad in Israel externship program. Note: there are potential additional costs associated with an externship. Please, ask for details from Dean Caruso.

In 2012, three Liberty Law students completed summer externships in Israel. These externships were coordinated with the assistance of the Prime Minister’s office and involved three distinct programs, including Project Heart with the Jewish Agency, the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, and NGO Monitor.
